From Carlos:
Carlos Quintero (MVP) has just released MZ-Tools 6.0 for VS.NET (http://www.mztools.com/v6/mztools6.aspx). MZ-Tools is a productivity add-in for Visual Studio .NET that supports VB.NET, C#, Visual J# and C++ (partial support) and adds 40+ features to the IDE to locate code faster, to code faster, to design faster, to generate documentation and to enhance your IDE experience. This new version targets VS.NET 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2008 (aka “Orcas”) in a single version.
I use the free 3.0 version for VBA and it’s great. You can get both at mztools.com.
As far as I’m concerned, MZ Tools 3.0 should have been built into the standard Excel IDE a long time ago. It’s an essential download, along with Bullen’s Smart Indenter.
:)
I can only echo Ken’s comment and add that it’s an excellent tool in the .NET enviroment as well.
Kind regards,
Dennis
MZ Tools is indispensable.
Not really adding much to quality of this discussion, but ‘ditto’.
This is very cool! Anyone in MSFT see this? Hopefully they do and add more to the IDE themselves. Did I read correctly that they are planning on improving the IDE a bit in the next Excel?
“planning on improving the IDE a bit in the next Excel?”….very unlikely…the IDE is dead, dont think they will improve.

Oh….Forgot…They migth put the Ribbon in the VBA IDE…just to make the mess complete….and may be the MzTools toobar will come in the developer tab as well
Sam
I use it for more than 5 years and it is still a must have ! Each time I (need to) re-install Excel, I install it first :)
