Mr. Excel has some Excel related podcasts. If you listen to the March 28th episode, you may note that I sound a little like Ted Baxter when I’ve been out drinking the night before.

Hey, not bad Dick. I’m terrible at that sort of thing. I can write much better than I can talk. BTW, I didn’t know about that Ctrl= keystroke. I’ve always used F9.
Ted Baxter knows Excel? Who knew.
I always used F9 too. Dick is the short-cut king. Keyboard Kusleika, that’s what I call him :-)
Shortcut king? I’d call him the king of wasted energy. Ctrl= takes two hands. F9 takes one. But he does remind me of Ted Baxter, so he’s not all bad.
I don’t know if it makes me the king of wasted energy, but it is less efficient. Once I’d decided on that topic, I kept telling myself to remember to say F9 and maybe throw in Ctrl+= as an alternative at the end. But I forgot. How the heck did I come up with Ctrl+= anyway, does anyone know? Is it a Lotus holdover?
It doesn’t seem to be a Lotus holdover. At least if it is they had dumped it by Rel 9.5 (which must be coming up for 10 years old by now).
Lotus, that was the spreadsheet that worked under wather too?
burrrrrrrrr ,
Sorry…
