The North China Plain is located east of the Sichuan Basin. They are separated by two mountains. The Sichuan Basin connects with the North China Plain by a gorge. The North China Plain, unlike it's name suggests, is not located in the northern part of the country, but it's in the eastern part, it comes out on the Yellow Sea.
