Area is height multiplied by width.
The inside of the frame's height is 4 in, and its width is 6 in.
4 x 6 = 24 in.

Same with the outside, the outside of the frame's height is 5, and its width is 7 in.
5 x 7 = 35 in.

So,
Area inside = 24 in.
Area outside = 35 in.
