To solve the system of equations we replace y in second equation by [tex]2x-4[/tex]

[tex]2x-4=1-3x[/tex]

add 3x on both sides

[tex]5x -4= 1[/tex]

add 4 on both sides

[tex]5x=5[/tex], divide both sides by 5

x=1

Now we find out y

[tex]y=2x-4[/tex]

[tex]y=2(1)-4=-2[/tex]

Solution is (1,-2), the graph is attached below
