The Columbian Exchange was most beneficial for the Europeans because they gained new resources that not only increased population but created economic stimulation. Exchanges among Europe, Americas, and Africa increased the economy of the colonies greatly as well as providing materials, slaves, goods, etc. that caused population growth within the colonies.
