The Bachelor doesn't give the women physical gifts to signify his interest. Instead, he hands out a single red rose at a ceremony each week. This rose represents the woman getting the rose can stay on the show and continue vying for his love. Women who don't receive a rose at the rose ceremony are eliminated from the competition.
