depends. in my opinion, once i analyze it and recognize the details of the piece i start to get a better understanding of what the painting is actually about in terms of emotion, style, and etc.
the reason why is because it depends on how long you look at it and what emotions your feeling when you look at it and sometimes your mind messes with you and changes the picture but i think that's just me
