The equation for slope is [tex] \frac{rise}{run} [/tex] . This is the same as m=[tex] \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} [/tex] . Also, it doesn't matter which set of coordinates is (x1,y1) and (x2,y2).
Now we can just plug in the numbers to find out the slope.

[tex] \frac{9-0}{4-3} [/tex]
= [tex] \frac{9}{1} [/tex]
=9

The slope is 9.
