They're both linear equations.
I'm assuming you meant what the point of intersection was for these equations, so I'll do just that
y = y, obviously because of identity property.
Knowing this, -3x + 5 = 2x - 3
Add 3x to both sides:
5 = 5x - 3
Add 3 to both sides:
5x = 8
x = 8/5
In order to solve for y, we just have to input this number into one of the equations:
y = 16/5 - 3
y = 16/5 - 15/5
y = 1/5
(8/5, 1/5)
